If you just got a Motorola Backflip running Android 1.5 it is now time to have fun but safe at the same time. The Backflip is what I would call a great Android starter phone. I is no performance beast but it will get the job done if you don't overload you phone with unnecessary apps. So I'm going to save you the time and recommend the app that all Backflip users need.

Silent Toggle Widget - http://www.appbrain.com
I find it a little annoying that we don't have a simple switch to silent mode button on the keyboard of the backflip. Well this app is likely the next best thing. You can switch from vibrate, silent, or ring. It's simple and easy to use.
